The record
Guests at the Balsam Mountain Inn report footsteps, turning doorknobs and bangs, with rooms 205 and 207 appearing in published accounts. Some describe a woman in old-fashioned clothing or children. Other visitors report uneventful stays, a useful distinction within the inn's varied guest testimony.
