The record
This preserved former prison offers history tours and paranormal programs. Its appearance in The Shawshank Redemption is a filming connection to a fictional story, separate from the reported hauntings. The preservation society promotes investigations, but a tour or television appearance cannot establish a supernatural cause for unusual experiences.
