Dock Street Theatre — South Carolina

The record

The current theatre incorporates the former Planter's Hotel and reopened as a performance venue in 1937. Accounts describe a figure identified as actor Junius Brutus Booth near a balcony box and a woman known as Nettie Dickerson. The reported sightings and their dramatic origin stories are separate claims.

Paranormal explanations remain claims, not established facts. Read the original sources for context.
