Hales Bar Dam powerhouse — Tennessee

The record

The former hydroelectric facility ceased operating in 1967. During a June 2020 tour, Ghost Research Society members reported a loud unexplained scream. Their account says another group’s recording failed to capture it, leaving a shared recollection rather than clear recorded confirmation.

Paranormal explanations remain claims, not established facts. Read the original sources for context.
