During 2016–2017 renovations, staff reportedly received calls from an unoccupied sixth-floor area. Other accounts describe cold spots, whispers and figures in corridors. Adolph Coors died after a fall from the hotel in 1929, but connecting later experiences to him is a paranormal interpretation rather than a documented causal link.
